HCMC welcomes first foreign visitors in 2008
Central Danang City welcomed 950 foreign visitors from the UK, Italy and Spain on board the Costa Allegra cruiseship which anchored Tien Sa Port on January 3.
The visitors will tour Danang, former imperial city of Hue and Hoi An ancient town.
Danang Department of Tourism expects to receive over 10, 000 tourists on board 17 cruise liners in the first quarter of 2008 and a total 28, 000 tourists by sea for the whole year, a year-on-year rise of 18.4% |
